Best Practices 1: Focus on Faculty Development

To expand and improve the quality of education through faculty development, by inculcating various modes of education, the institute have conducted an “One Week Faculty Development Programme on Blended Learning in NEP, 2020”. In the FDP, the notion of blended learning which incorporates both conventional classroom teaching and ICT-supported learning in both offline and online modes of learning is imparted upon the faculties. It provided the collaborative, constructive and computer aided mode of learning which will improve the teaching learning outcome.

The college has also encouraged the faculties’ participation on research and training programs, with the objective to enhance the teaching processes, through financial aid. Workshop/Seminar/Training Programmes and Research work conducted in the college have promotedacademic activities such as paper and book publications etc.

Best Practice 2: Promotion of Social Awareness on the Students

To create social awareness on the students to bring about positive outcomes for the society as a whole. Apart from the academic line of education, there is also the social sphere, which incorporates the importance of social responsibilities and social duties. Social responsibilities and social duties include care for environmental sustainability, of cooperation, social services, social health and awareness etc. in line with these, the institute have conducted various programs and campaigns such as tree plantation program, youth development under NSS cell, clean environment campaigns blood donation camp etc.
